In their own words
What people said after the truck pulled out of the driveway.
We are not going to put a number on this page. Sixty-some years and thousands of doors means the reviews are not all identical, and boiling them down to one star average would flatten the parts that actually tell you something. Below are the words real customers wrote, with their names on them, and nothing else added.
Three things kept coming up without us asking for them.
The crew has names
Spencer, Jordon and Keith show up in the reviews themselves.
Customers do not write 'the technician.' They write Spencer, or Jordon, or Keith, because those are the people who were actually in the driveway. Shirley remembers Spencer and Jordon working non-stop until three doors were installed perfectly. Tausha remembers Spencer walking her through upkeep and programming her car to the new opener. Veronica remembers Keith explaining the mechanics before he ever asked for the sale.
Next-day, not next-week
“The very next day” shows up twice, independently.
Vincent called after seeing an ad and had a crew booked for the following day. Adam Davis called about a door opener and torsion bar and was seen the next day too, with the technicians texting ahead so he knew when they were coming. Neither review was coached toward that phrase. Two different customers, six months apart, landed on the same word.
Nobody got upsold
The review that talks someone out of spending more, not into it.
Veronica Suri called to have two doors serviced and an operator adjusted. Keith laid out the real difference between a belt-driven and a chain-driven opener, price and mechanics both, and let her decide. She and her mother ended up impressed less by the door than by not being pushed toward one they did not need.

Handover day
“Absolutely the best people to be around.”
That line is Frieda's, written on the residential page rather than Google, but it says what most of these reviews are circling: the job ends with a sign, a photograph, and people who are glad they called.
Every one we have permission to use

“Dabney Garage doors did an excellent job installing my security screens/screen door and rolling security shutter.”
“Excellent service from Dabney. Called to have the door opener replaced and check on the torsion bar. They were here the next day and the technicians were very communicative letting me know they were on the way and when they were done with the job.”
“Saw the ad and had to check it out. After a quick over-the-phone diagnoses, they scheduled an appointment with me the very next day. Crew took little time installing, and I should've paid extra for their humor. Will call again.”
“Keith explained to me the differences (both price wise and mechanical wise) between the belt driven and chain driven operators, but never pushed me into immediate replacement”
“You installed 3 garage doors for me and I am so pleased with the doors and with the installers, Spencer and Jordon. They worked non stop until the doors were installed perfectly and they look so professionally installed and beautiful.”
“Outstanding service! From the first phone call until the job was done, everyone we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Can't recommend highly enough!”
“Great service. Spencer was very professional and took care of my problem in no time. Educated me on upkeep. He even programmed my car to open and close my garage door.”
“We recommend Dabney Garage Doors. Absolutely the best people to be around. Awesome job guys.”

Every review above started with a phone call. Yours would go to James and Julie Dabney at the Port Neches shop, same as it did for Shirley, Vincent and the rest.
