Chapter 01
Built to match the house, not the other way around
Every residential job starts with the house already in front of us, not a catalog page. We work out style, color and size to fit the driveway and the home behind it, whether that's a single door for a one-car garage or a matched pair on a two-car front. We install new doors, replace worn ones, repair what's already hanging, and service openers that have started acting up, all handled by the same crew instead of passed around.
Every opener we set up is MyQ smart-app compatible, so the door can be checked and opened from a phone. Handy when you are already at work wondering if you closed it. It's a small thing, and it saves a real drive back across Port Neches or Beaumont just to go look.

When the door that's already up stops behaving
Most calls aren't for a new door at all. They're for something that used to work and doesn't anymore: a spring that let go overnight, a cable that frayed through, a panel that took a hit from a trailer hitch backing in too fast, or an opener that stopped responding to the remote. A torsion bar under load and a roller worn out of its track aren't projects for a Saturday afternoon and a stepladder. We handle broken springs, cables, dented panels, defective openers, torsion bars and roller repairs, and we come out to look at it ourselves rather than guess over the phone.

Family owned since 1962, and still answering the phone
James and Julie Dabney still pick up the phone themselves. That's been true since 1962, long before most garage door companies in the Golden Triangle existed at all, and it's still true on the day your door won't open. We're factory trained and authorized installers for LiftMaster, Genie and Guardian, and we also sell, install and service Raynor, Clopay, Amarr and C.H.I doors, so whatever brand is already on the house, we can work on it or replace it outright.
